Supply Teacher
Teaching Personnel is the leading supply teaching agency in the UK and is currently looking for teachers for both short-term and long-term roles in Newport and nearby areas. We welcome teachers from all subject areas who are skilled in teaching KS3 and KS4. As a supply teacher, you will be essential in supporting students' academic achievement while enjoying flexible work options. Furthermore, this position can provide job stability and the chance to move into a permanent role if desired.
Location: Newport
Start date: Immediate start
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Paid in line with MPS, starting at £157.66 daily
Successful Candidate Criteria:
- Strong subject and curriculum knowledge to develop students understanding and progression.
- Capability to adjust teaching methods based on the classroom dynamics and student needs.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons while ensuring a high standard of education is maintained.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess pupils’ development and understanding and provide appropriate feedback to regular teachers.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT
- Enhanced DBS (Teaching Personnel can help with this)
- Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Teaching Personnel can help with this)
