As a Peripatetic Home Manager (Nurse Qualified), you will oversee the efficient and professional operation of various care homes within the organisation. Your role will involve managing homes during leadership vacancies or when registered managers are on leave, maintaining the highest standards of care, compliance, and team morale.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualifications – Nursing qualification with a valid NMC Pin .
* Experience – Proven experience as a Care Home Manager in nursing or residential care homes, ideally within older people’s and dementia care settings. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
* Leadership Skills – Ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively across multiple locations.
* Person-Centred Approach – Passionate about delivering high-quality, tailored care and promoting residents' well-being.
* Communication – Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Management – Oversee staffing, delegate tasks, and ensure effective leadership within the home. Manage rota schedules, ensuring alignment with residents' needs and budgetary guidelines.
* Care Delivery – Lead care interventions and ensure person-centred care plans are in place. Maintain high standards of care, promoting residents' health and well-being.
* Staff Support & Development – Provide strong leadership, promoting professional development and ensuring staff compliance with policies and best practices.
* Compliance & Governance – Ensure homes operate within CQC, safeguarding, health & safety, and other regulatory frameworks. Manage regulatory notifications and ensure accurate documentation.
* Culture & Values – Foster an inclusive, positive culture where residents and staff feel valued. Promote diversity, inclusion, and anti-discrimination practices, developing a welcoming and homely environment.
