We are working with a growing accountancy practice based in Barking, East London, serving small businesses and sole traders across the UK. Their focus is on providing top-quality tax compliance and advisory services to help clients thrive.
As they expand, we are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join the team. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in sales, business development, or client relationship management, who is eager to step into the world of accountancy. You will be trained on the fundamentals of tax compliance for small businesses and sole traders, allowing you to develop the skills needed to advise clients with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
1. First Point of Contact: You will handle initial consultations, provide basic tax compliance guidance (once trained), and present quotes to potential clients.
2. Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into our services.
3. Sales & Client Management: You will manage a high volume of inbound client enquiries, working to convert leads into clients. After onboarding, you’ll maintain client relationships and ensure ongoing support.
4. No Bookkeeping or Filing: This is a client-facing role focused on relationship management, not administrative tasks. Bookkeeping, VAT filing, and other technical work will be handled by our accounting team.
