The Principal Designer Role
As the Principal Designer, you will take a lead role in ensuring CDM compliance and integrating health and safety into the design and construction process across a variety of projects. With a diverse portfolio of projects in sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education, this is an ideal opportunity to make a significant impact within a highly respected national firm.
Principal Designer Key Responsibilities
Deliver Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Conduct thorough design risk assessments and hazard elimination strategies.
Provide expert CDM advice and guidance to clients, contractors, and design teams.
Attend site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and safety standards.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
The Principal Designer
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
