Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Locum Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic procedures. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and clear images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards, provide support and reassurance to patients, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the mammography service. Requirements: HCPC registration as a Radiographer. Extensive experience in mammography, ideally at Band 7 level. Proficiency in operating mammographic imaging equipment. Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging techniques. In-depth understanding of radiation protection and health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care.
