Hours per week: Up to 5 hours per week on either a Friday or Saturday (ideal start time between 10am/11am)
Hourly pay rate: £20
A personal assistant is required to support a 38 year old woman for between 3 and 5 hours on a Friday or Saturday starting on either day between 10 and 11am. She spends 4 days a week at Ferring Country Centre working in the stables so is physically able, is ambulant, loves walking and being out in the community. She has limited road sense and can require support on roadways. She has an original diagnosis of cerebral palsy and autism, speech and language disorder and dyspraxia also impact on her cognitive impairment. She is a happy soul who likes to visit MENCAP's Buddys Cafe on a Friday morning and she enjoys shopping. She engages with weekly basketball and football groups, she likes music and activities such as cinema and bowling. She loves mooching around charity shops or just having a walk in the countryside.
