Our client based in Orpington, Kent is looking to appoint a full-time, driven, dynamic Accounts Payable Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the team and develop your skillset. This position is well suited to a candidate who is a self-starter or recent graduate who can manage their workload and has strong communication skills. Starting in Accounts Payable and developing your career in Accountancy, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the following:
1. Posting invoices and managing credit notes
2. Supplier statement reconciliation
3. Support in ledger closures and month-end processes
4. Efficient management of Purchase Orders and assisting with supplier setup and maintenance
5. Posting bank and credit card transactions, payment allocation
6. Bank reconciliations
7. Posting journals
