Description Amazon Shipping (SWA) is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Strategy & Integration team in the the EU Customer Expansions space. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long term vision for Amazon Shipping and Product requirements into operational program plans that help the EU business target new customers and new business enablement. This will require a true hands-on approach, solid stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills. Our Programme Managers are always thinking about the bigger picture. You will be part of the core team that will be building the Amazon Shipping product operational strategy and implementation plan across EU. You will help design and shape the Amazon shipping product, engaging and influencing multiple Operations stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love. Key job responsibilities - Lead the EU SWA Customer Expansion and New Product enablement roadmap from an Operations perspective, including defining key operating models for geographies and/or demand channels. - Partner with internal teams and stakeholders and be the thought leader in the operations expansion space. - Improve key operational metrics by building new processes and partnerships with the Business, Product and Ops teams. - Support the launch of Amazon Shipping in new countries and new market segments both internal and external from an E2E operations perspective. - Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical programs are being delivered on schedule and to the standards expected. A day in the life As a Senior Programme Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion. About the team Amazon Shipping offers Amazon's delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping's first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.
