Workshop Technician - Bricklaying
Location: Selby Campus
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Construction team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.
You will:
1. Prepare and maintain materials and equipment used by students in the workshops
2. Support the dismantling of work prepared by students to maintain operational status of the workshops
3. Carry out maintenance of workshops
4. Ensure adequate stock levels of materials are maintained
5. Implement appropriate Health and Safety systems
6. Support the instruction of learners in practical activity
As a Workshop Technician, you should be confident, well organised, and have specialist vocational skills in the Construction Industry.
You should:
1. Hold a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction trade.
2. GCSE English and Maths A*-C or equivalent
3. First Aid qualification, or willingness to achieve within six months
4. A wide range of experience gained within the Construction Industry
