We are recruiting for an experienced Event Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing our client and working onsite at a leading multinational professional services network. The role will involve full responsibility for supporting all audio-visual activity from high-profile events to meeting room support, incorporating a wide range of AV and VC products across the London campus as well as second-line support to client locations across the UK as required. You will manage and operate the event spaces, attend high-level events, and provide first-class client experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities:
* Be customer-focused with a strong ability to deal with individuals at all levels in a friendly, welcoming, and helpful manner.
* Actively monitor clients' AV/Microsoft Teams estate via remote monitoring tools (Crestron Fusion, Logitech Sync Portal, Utelogy).
* Provide remote support to all client service users via monitoring tools, telephone, and video call.
* Provide real-time in-room support across client buildings.
* Provide a meet & greet service to assist all VIP meetings and clients who require a technician to help connect audio and video conferencing calls.
* Fault handling and tracking of all AV-related fault tickets raised via Service Now through to resolution.
* Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV phone & email.
* Troubleshoot AV-related technology issues (e.g., projectors, control systems, switching, audio, and screens) to complete resolution.
* Ensure all equipment faults and requests are reported via onsite procedures.
* Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish the full nature of meeting requirements and equipment/meeting room setups.
* Setup, testing, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment (e.g., video data projection systems, audio and video conference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and operation of integrated AV systems).
* Ad hoc testing across client site – high-profile rooms/areas.
* Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on audio-visual equipment, connectivity, and applications.
* Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first/second line basis and provide a workaround if the problem is critical.
* Have a strong understanding of conferencing technology around video, bridging, audio, web, and streaming, including mixing boards and video switchers.
* Direct & manage all onsite events within large presentation spaces.
* Work closely with the offsite events team to ensure all event requirements are captured and managed effectively for both onsite and offsite events.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines.
* Provide white glove service that manages technical logistics for large complex events, Town halls, special events, and VIP video meetings.
* Conduct planning meetings with client event organizers to ensure the correct technology is being used, leading to successful meetings/events.
* Work with vendors for AV rental and staging of events.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Experience of supporting a variety of AV spaces.
* Strong working knowledge and exposure to industry-standard VMR service providers.
* Experience of working with corporate VIPs.
* Experience of running the AV aspect of presentations for high-profile meetings.
* Be organized and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day.
* Excellent customer service skills with previous experience of dealing with executives at all levels advantageous.
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is essential.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Availability and flexibility to work overtime if required.
* Good communication skills both verbal and written, able to communicate with company executives to building contractors.
* Work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that tasks are completed thoroughly.
* A reliable, conscientious character who takes pride in their work and completing tasks on time.
* Ability to deal with difficult situations.
* Strong working knowledge of industry-standard video conferencing platforms.
* Willing to undertake training and examinations to improve technical knowledge.
