We have an opportunity for a highly skilled MRI Radiographer with a specific interest and previous experience in cardiac MRI, to join our team.
What you will do:
As an MRI Radiographer at Nuffield Leeds, you will spend a significant amount of time with patients and will make sure they feel welcome, safe and comfortable during their imaging procedures. As a Senior Cardiac MRI Radiographer, you will play a vital role in performing Cardiac MRI procedures while also providing expertise in other MRI specialties. These will include neuro, musculoskeletal, vascular and abdominal work. This position offers a dynamic split between Cardiac MRI and general MRI, with the caseload tailored to your strengths and expertise. The role also requires you to work in CT scanning and participate in the cross sectional on call service.
You will be extremely professional and friendly to clients and colleagues, working efficiently and effectively, always adhering to best practice techniques. You will be skilled in diagnostic imaging and always work hard to produce the highest quality images, taking advantage of opportunities to develop new skills.
What you are responsible for:
* Skillfully carry out accurate MRI scanning in line with Nuffield Leeds protocols.
* Warmly liaise with patients and ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
* Communicate effectively with Consultant Radiologists to ensure they have the images they require.
* Accurately consent patients with a safety questionnaire.
* Check equipment as required.
* Undertake training and development as necessary.
* Administrative tasks including patient enquiries and ensuring patient images are uploaded to the relevant systems.
* Stock taking and ordering supplies.
* Supporting the clinical lead on audits and projects where necessary.
* Respecting patient confidentiality at all times.
* Proactively promoting Nuffield Health Leeds through outstanding client service.
* Ensuring excellent attention to detail with all our systems and processes.

Role requirements and experience:
* Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography.
* Minimum two years’ post-graduate experience in MRI with proven experience in Cardiac MRI scanning.
* Current HCPC registration.
* Strong experience in other MRI specialisms (MSK, Neurological, Spinal, etc.) is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.
* You will ideally have UK experience and you must be available for an in-person interview in Leeds.
