An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual in the role of IT/AV Technician, providing first-class technical support for the IT Team, assemblies, productions, performances, music recording, shows, events, exams, meetings, and lessons, as well as helping manage our other performance-related facilities. These facilities include:

This is very much a hands-on role, bringing you into contact with a variety of staff at all levels, together with students between the ages of 11-16. You will be expected to possess strong IT/Media skills and the ability to be organized and work under pressure under the leadership of the IT Systems Manager.
The successful candidate will have experience in the field of production, stage management, live events or be a graduate or college leaver, having studied such a background. Good communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude, with a willingness to source solutions, are essential, particularly as we look to expand and develop this provision in the future. Flexibility with your hours of work is necessary due to the nature of these activities, and this position provides an excellent opportunity to gain further experience and development. Ideally, you will have experience working in an educational environment and have a good understanding of the necessary H&S principles.

The position is full-time, all year round, and is due to commence on or after 1st February 2025.
