Hutchings Hyundai Bridgend are looking to recruit an ambitious, pro actice and enthusiastic Service Manager to run our small service department. What does the statement above mean? Hutchings Hyundai Bridgend is a brilliant 'next step' position for the right minded candidate. The workshop has three bays including a single operation MOT Lane. We are fully staffed with a Master Technician plus two excellent Technicians who are working through the Hyundai training pathway with two of the team being MOT testers. The Front counter team comprises of a Service Advisor/Parts expert and the Service Manager. The role reports directly to the Brand Manager and is supported by both Group Compliance and Warranty Managers. We want to speak to candidates that have a passion for delivering and excellent customer experience while hitting the required numbers month in month out (which all of our service departments do and we will share the way that we set the monthly number based on the sites capacity during the interview). You need to have a great personality and be able to work closely with the Brand Manager in delivering a consistent performance. You will love coaching and developing your Technicians and non productive team members and have the experience ability and resilience to be involved in every part of the Service departments operation. The candidate must have good Technician/Systems skills and be able to understand the performance data to coach and improve performance. You are the face of the Service Department in Hutchings Hyundai, Bridgend and will lead by example in your attitude, enthusiasm and communication both internally and with all of our customers. Your selling skills will need to be on point for VHC and service plans and you will be responsible for delivering the Groups VHC development plan with the Hutchings after sales team. In summary you will need experience of front counter, workshop control and leadership to get the most out of this position but in return you will get 100% support for all areas of technical, commercial and personal performance that will, for the right candidate, make this a personally and financially rewarding position. This is a Monday to Friday role. We do not operate our Service Departments on the weekends.
