Job Description:
Our client requires a Business Development Coordinator to work at its site in Tamworth. Duties include assisting the external sales team in identifying opportunities and converting quotes to purchase orders via the CRM system, while obtaining site build programmes to aid the Sales and Operations Planning department.
Job Role
* Ensuring all quotes issued are followed up in a timely manner with follow-up notes diarised.
* Securing purchase orders to improve conversion of quotes.
* Helping protect margins during negotiations on project quotes.
* Providing feedback regarding live projects to relevant estimators and sales managers to aid closing sales.
* Assisting with the implementation and adoption of the CRM system throughout the Commercial department.
* Identifying and logging projects from databases and online sources (LinkedIn, website inquiries).
* Training current and future staff to log inquiries via the CRM system.
* Obtaining build programmes to assist the Production Planning department.
* Prioritising workload and working independently on multiple projects.
* Upselling and promoting the benefits of BBA-certified products over competitors.
