As Assistant Technical Superintendent you will assisting in maintaining Svitzer vessels and operating them to the highest international standards. Assisting in all maintenance activities related to the company's vessels, including routine inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance to ensure vessels are in optimal operating condition and coordinate the procurement of spare parts, equipment, and services necessary for vessel maintenance and repair operations Responsibilities include ; Develop and execute efficient planned maintenance systems for all company vessels under your jurisdiction. Liaise with stakeholders to devise and carry out maintenance procedures and strategies, ensuring alignment with company performance and reliability metrics. Ensure that vessels conform to commercial and statutory standards, striving to ensure their suitability for their intended purposes. Provide regular reports to senior management on individual projects as needed. Contribute to the enhancement of the Company's technical knowledge base, thereby supporting its growth and operational efficiency Collaborate with Chief engineers and vessel Masters to assess and rectify vessel defects, coordinating repairs to optimise vessel uptime. Experience Required: Possess relevant marine engineering qualifications Seagoing experience highly desirable Previous shore based experience in technical management (Desirable) Hold a full UK drivers licence Must have right to work in the UK
