An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic colleague to take on the role of Specialist Early Years Practitioner, to join Worthing Child Development Centre, Worthing Hospital.
This permanent role will involve working as part of the multidisciplinary community health teams based out of the CDC. The successful candidate will be directly supporting and working alongside the nursing team, working closely with the paediatricians, safeguarding team and therapy staff, and have regular communication with nurseries, health visitors & Social care agencies.
Offering support directly to families and children with disabilities is highly rewarding and the work settings are varied, including delivery in the CDCs, and in patients' homes, nurseries and schools.

1. To deliver agreed packages of care to a number of clients receiving referrals from the wider multi-disciplinary teams.
2. To participate in maintenance of clinical standards within the team and participate in audits
3. To plan and undertake visits and clinic duties to clients, carrying out appropriate care, reporting to the specialist nurse and giving support and advice in child care issues.
4. To keep accurate, legible records and written reports as required.
