The Opportunity
As a Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in delivering critical enabling works on the prestigious HS2 project. This includes road realignments, utility diversions, and structural works, ensuring that the project progresses on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enabling works, including road alignments, utility diversions, and structures.
2. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Resource Management: Coordinate labour, plant, and materials effectively, ensuring optimal performance and minimal waste.
4. Health & Safety: Champion safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all statutory and company requirements.
5. Quality Control: Monitor project standards and ensure all works meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
6. Programme & Budget Management: Track progress against the programme, manage budgets, and take corrective actions where necessary.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role, ideally on large infrastructure or enabling works.
2. Strong technical knowledge of road alignments, utility diversions, and structural works.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
5. Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
