WHAT TO EXPECT
Data management, within the Procurement Digital & innovation (PD&I) function is responsible for delivery Procurement’s data strategy and governance. In this role you will support the PD&I Data Manager, in the design, management, analysis and engineering of a diverse range of procurement data asset’s using a variety of tools to achieve consistent data management & usage across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible and accountable for the delivery of procurement data strategies that meet the requirements of JLR Procurement & PD&I which are also compatible within the wider JLR operating framework.
2. Support in the design & implementation of data governance frameworks - operating models, roles and responsibilities, policies/procedures and key metrics.
3. Support in the delivery of data analysis and architecture processes to improve standards with a focus on: Data Lifecycle Management, Data Quality rules & Master Data Management.
4. Provide support and assistance to identify interface data errors and ensure that appropriate focus is put on understanding and fixing root cause of any data issues and specific data gaps.
5. Assist in data management best practices and governance, as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1. Knowledge and/or experience in data management and data governance best practice.
2. Previous experience of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Analysis and Architecture (ideally focused in a Procurement domain within a manufacturing environment).
3. Previous experience and knowledge of various data management tools.
4. Knowledge & Experience of Procurement data within SAP (S4Hana an advantage).
