Job Title: Production Maintenance Lead Location: Banbury Salary: c£55k (Depending on Experience) excellent benefits package About the role In this hands on role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client’s build production line ensuring that the business facilities, machinery and equipment run and operate safely and to maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, servicing, managing breakdowns, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment. You will also be responsible for managing associated costs and budgets. Job Role General electrical / mechanical production and assembly tasks where required. Including maintenance of the robotic production equipment Maintaining high quality work standards and adhering to the SOP’s provided, Reporting and resolving issues within the work area, Take ownership of the area and products, Drive continuous improvement actively, Maintaining accurate, traceable records, Be proactive in identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible. Developing and following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed, Inspecting machinery, equipment, and associated systems Skills/Experience Required Excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of proprietary PC software e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & CMMS eMaint X5. You will need to be a strong team player, with the ability to work under pressure, within tight delivery schedules. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment from gaining agreement to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal Experience in manufacturing and production techniques is required, ideally on a robotic production line. Demonstrate an accepted qualification (NVQ minimum) in the required maintenance / facilities management discipline, Required to work to all Health and Safety standards and guidelines, Demonstrable experience in facilities and equipment management across multi sites.
