Marketing Manager
Rotherham
£30,000 -£40,000 PA plus bonus
My client ,a well-established and leading Yorkshire retailer are at present searching for an experienced Marketing Manager to work out of their brand new Rotherham location.
As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and improve customer engagement across our stores, our own web site, third party marketplaces like Amazon and eBay plus B2B customers. You will work closely with, senior management, our buying and sales teams and Brand partners like Samsung and Bosch to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns to promote products, promotions, and events both online and offline.
2. Manage the store's digital presence, including website content, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising.
3. Collaborate with the store management team to drive foot traffic and sales through effective in-store promotions and events.
4. Analyse customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
5. Work closely with external agencies and Brands to execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
6. Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
7. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in omnichannel marketing, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
9. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and customer experience.
10. Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI for all marketing activities.
Qualifications:
11. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related.
12. Proven experience in omnichannel marketing, preferably in the retail industry.
13. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.
14. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive actionable insights.
15. Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
16. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
18. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.
19. Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behaviour.
