Job Type: Fixed Term Contract / Secondment June - December 2025
Location: This role could be based in either our Birmingham, Telford or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.
Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits : £40,000 - £55,000 per annum plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.
The role
We are currently expanding the skill sets within the Process Optimisation team, in the Insights and Service family to support the delivery of our finance transformation and Operational Effectiveness objectives. The role holder will be responsible for the analysis and identification of efficiency and effectiveness opportunities using Lean operational effectiveness principles before implementing a range of solutions including MOS – Management Operating System.
You will support the Senior Process Optimisation Lead and work on identification of process inefficiencies, opportunities to improve team/function ways of working and solution implementation that will include: Workload levelling, reduction in Key Person Dependency, improvements to individual and team productivity. Coaching and mentoring on Lean, Continuous improvement and Power BI, Power Automate.
What are we looking for?
1. An experienced operational effectiveness improvement specialist ideally qualified to Lean Six Sigma black belt or green belt and/or equivalent Lean or transformation industry experience.
2. Experience of a disciplined approach to root cause analysis, operational performance improvement, and leadership coaching
3. Ideally, experience building Power BI solutions, and the use of Power Automate.
4. Effective at planning and organising with the ability to support multiple workstreams/projects concurrently.
5. Able to build relationships quickly and work well with a wide range of stakeholder groups with different needs and expectations at all levels of the organisation.
6. Be able to work autonomously and with confidence to influence stakeholders and change delivery peers.
