What’s on offer for the Assistant Accountant Opportunity to work hybrid 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Life assurance x 4 salary Professional growth opportunities The role of the Assistant Accountant Posting month end accruals and prepayments Completion of balance sheet reconciliations Prepare ad-hoc data analysis as required to provide a detailed understanding of the departments financial performance Support FBP in completion of month end reporting requirements Provision of data for the annual audit process Support completion of departments P&L forecast by month, on a quarterly basis Support completion of the financial full year budget, by month for department Loading of financial forecast and budget into Sage X3 Complete weekly departments KPI report Support Finance Business Partner in providing deep dive analysis as required on departments performance Work closely with department and provide them with support to understand their financial numbers The ideal candidate for the Assistant Accountant Part qualified accountant of a recognised body or equivalent Strong communication skills Strong excel skills and ability to build financial files up from scratch, guided by the FBP Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines Confidence to seek help and support
