Neway are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our client based with Conwy Borough Council.
This role is starting on the 9th of September, working Mon to Fri 37 hours a week in an ongoing contract.
We have an opportunity that has become available for an experienced Admin and Business Support Officer to join our Workforce Team.
As a member of the Workforce Admin and Business Support team with in the Workforce service, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Social Care Workforce Learning & Development Team and other Social Care Managers in regards to HR services and functions.
The Workforce Admin and Business Support team provides support to all services in relation to the following key areas:
• Supporting social care managers with the Social Care employee's journey. Aiding with the attraction phase, the recruitment process, on-boarding process, retention and development processes of employees, thorough to the off-boarding stage in line with HR policies.
• To carry out an extensive range of administrative tasks e.g. typing, photocopying, inputting, and scanning, creating and managing spreadsheets, reports.
• To input and maintain electronic data systems and carry out data validation and assist in the provision of the data.
• Act as a point of contact for Social Care Managers as well as departmental link officers for Corporate functions.
The tasks of this role may be undertaken supporting any service delivery area and may change
Skills and qualifications required:
• Good standards of education (5 GCSE or equivalent) plus technology & software skills
• Strong organisation, planning, analytical & problem solving skills
• Team work & interpersonal skills

The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday – Friday. There is an expectation that candidate lives locally or with in a commutable distance as the position is located in Conwy County. The worker will work from the office – Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, Conwy. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8-12 weeks with potential to be extended.
