Curriculum Lead/SEMH Teacher
in one of our partnership schools located in
Tameside.. You will be providing
professional leadership
and
management
as well as delivering a bespoke curriculum to small classes of KS3/4 students with social, emotional and mental health needs and behavioural difficulties. We are seeking an
experienced
and
innovative SEMH Teacher
who is committed to making sure that all students learn and are engaged in a
meaningful
and
worthwhile education, which provides them with the means to enjoy achievement, success and increased independence. About the role - Full-time Monday - Friday, starting as soon as possible - You will need to be a
positive
and
resilient
role model who is willing to work and overcome the boundaries/challenges required to make a positive impact to the pupil's education and well-being - You will develop the curriculum planning across all year groups in the school. - You will
collaborate
with other professionals, including Teaching Assistants, SENCO, and external specialists, to provide holistic support for students - You will teach
inspirational ,
specialist
and
highly differentiated
lessons to designated pupils and undertake associated leadership and management duties - You will support the headteacher in defining, meeting and promoting the vision, aims, ethos and policies of the school and promote high levels of achievement - You will lead, manage and develop aspects of the curriculum and the learning contexts in order to meet the needs of learners with
SEMH

Qualified Teacher Status
(QTS) or equivalent qualification - Experience working with students with
SEMH
and
strong behaviour management
skills - Proven experience in leadership/management role within a school -
Resilience
and the ability to see through and overcome challenging behaviours to ensure each pupil achieves to their best ability - Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs, including
SEMH
and
