About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Compliance and Governance Advisor to join our UK Risk Office, supporting the business by providing professional risk judgement. As a key member of the team, you will provide innovative solutions to mitigate risks to the business, grow your strategic and influencing skills, and create order out of complexity and uncertainty.

You will have a high level of exposure across the business, partnering closely with senior business and risk office leaders, compliance, legal, and Operational Risk Management.
As a Compliance and Governance Advisor, you will be responsible for:
* Audit and Exam Management: Providing support during audits and regulatory exams, and delivering key risk mitigation and remediation activities.
* Governance Activities: Supporting Accountable Executives to comply with their obligations under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime, working closely with legal partners.
* Risk Assessments: Developing a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile, identifying and assessing the impact of changing regulatory environments on business objectives and risk appetite.
* Data Analysis: Analysing data to proactively identify risks and trends, providing insights to support internal customers in decision-making.
* Risk Policy Implementation: Providing guidance and advice to business partners on implementing risk policies and programs.
* Collaboration: Driving collaboration between risk, compliance, legal, and other business support functions.

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices, with a hybrid working model allowing flexibility to work from home or in the office. The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
