We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join us and work as part of the team supporting pupils’ educational and healthcare needs.
The academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families. In this role, you will be required to help with the organisation and running of intervention groups across the academy.
Nethergate Academy is a special academy in the City of Nottingham for 173 pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties. The age range is from 5-19 years with a wide range of ability. Many pupils have autism and some have SEMH needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain teaching experience and develop a wide range of skills whilst working in a friendly and supportive environment.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time (39 weeks)
