Admin & Compliance Officer
My client is an organisation based in Newtownabbey; they are currently seeking an Admin & Compliance Officer to join their team.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Can work from home on a Friday
With a salary of £30-£34,000 per annum – dependent on experience.
Essential Criteria:
* Previous and demonstrable experience of working in administration and audit/compliance.
* IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Office software.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise a busy workload and deal with confidently with demanding situations, people and requirements.
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carrying out the onboarding process as per the Onboarding Checklist for candidates in line with company, client and legislative requirements.
* Application for visas/work permits for employees working internationally.
* Documenting process & procedures in line with ISO & client requirements.
* Undertake regular internal audits to ensure contractual and compliance requirements are delivered.
* Ensuring appropriate and relevant documentation and record keeping is adopted to monitor quality and compliance.
* Delivering or arranging ad hoc compliance training for staff members when required.
* Collate audit information, generating and distributing regular and accurate reports to highlight risks to the business.
* Facilitate external audits and inspections from third parties.
* Accurately updating Company Management system.
* Taking minutes of meetings and circulating in a timely fashion including agreed action points where relevant.
* Providing support for payroll processing.
* Providing accurate reporting on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis as required.
* Liaison with external suppliers when required.
* Completing CVs as requested.
* Other administrative support as requested.
* Some reception duties.
