Job Title: Site Agent Location: Solihull, Birmingham Company: Winner Recruitment Salary: £350 - £400 per day About Us: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Agent. Contributing to the successful delivery of civil engineering projects with a focus on highways works. Key Responsibilities: As a Site Agent, you will: Contribute to value engineering and buildability discussions for the project. Collaborate with the Planner and production personnel to agree on construction methods and programmes. Establish, monitor, and control resource requirements, production outputs, and overhead targets. Conduct analysis of fully resourced programmes, ensuring operational target programmes reflect the overall contract programme. Lead short-term planning and disseminate these programmes to the site team and supply chain. Organize resources and manage the execution of works, including the selection of sub-contractors. Ensure the procurement of materials and plant to meet specifications and planned schedules while managing material wastage. Oversee the signing off of RAMS, ITPs, and MARs before work commences and ensure all necessary testing and inspection regimes are in place. Manage permits, approvals, and temporary works requirements. Ensure that project quality standards and handover requirements are met, and non-conformance reports are dealt with promptly. Experience and Knowledge Required: Extensive experience in Civil Engineering, particularly in the construction of highway works. Strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of CDM Regulations. Proficiency in producing RAMS, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work. Familiarity with relevant safety, quality, and environmental systems. Proven leadership experience in managing small teams and taking the initiative. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related field. Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent (desirable). IOSH Managing Safely certification. SMSTS and CSCS card holders. Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator (desirable). First Aider and Fire Marshall (desirable).
