One of our large rail clients is looking for an E&P Engineer to work a Multi Billion Pound Project in Huddersfield
Key Responsibilities:
* Health and safety
* Contribute to Plan development with the Project Manager and Project Engineer
* Plan day to day requirements of the Project works Package to produce effective use of all resources to minimise snagging
* Leading an installation team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and 3rd parties, including implementation of the health, safety, environmental and quality standards into construction planning and works.
* Manage and coordinate with supervisors to ensure the works are raised and planned safely on site
* Creation of work package plans, task briefing sheets and management through to acceptance
* Management and compilation of BS7671 and other standard test results
* Creation of ITP’s to include safe switching, isolation and re-energisation procedures through
* to acceptance
* Shift reporting
Experience required:
* Railway sector experience
* Electrically biased
* Thorough knowledge of M&E/E&P installations
* Previously managed teams on site
* LV experience - 650v, points heating, DNO's, signalling power, Junction Lighting
* Gain a full understanding of the deliverables from a technical perspective.
* Gain a full understanding of the current programme [Design and delivery] including key blockade dates and possessions.
* Gain a full understanding of dependencies [Give/Gets] of other disciplines.
* Gain a full understanding of the geographical area and locations that the works are taking place.
* Assist in developing and maintaining a robust resource loaded delivery plan.
* Provide key dates and deliverables for interface with Lineside Civils and S&T.
* Develop and maintain a strong delivery team
* Help to build and retain an efficient delivery and installation team.
* Promote and embed a culture where people can speak up and be supported.
* Participate and deliver regular team briefs.
* Help with the content and delivery of safety stand down days for the team.
