POSITION DESCRIPTION: In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the charge in managing and monitoring a robust quality management system, fostering seamless collaboration between global sites and departments. Acting as the primary liaison with customers, you'll establish quality benchmarks and swiftly address concerns, driving innovation and excellence in every interaction. This position entails limited but sporadic travel in order for you to visit suppliers and manufacturing sites, within the UK and at times abroad. Analyze and report complaints data, identifying trends and insights to optimize quality performance. Manage group testing and analysis costs, ensuring streamlined monthly reporting. Maintain and update customer-facing portals with quality documentation and assessment sheets. Partner with site food safety teams to address customer complaints effectively. Oversee and enhance the Global Technical and Quality SharePoint, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards and customer requirements. Review and refine internal audit templates annually to align with updated regulatory, food safety, and customer standards. Provide critical support to regulatory teams, supplying accurate data for customer questionnaires. Lead the monitoring and maintenance of raw material risk assessments, driving proactive risk management. Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure emergency contact lists are up-to-date and reliable. Assist other departments with quality data and insights to promote organization-wide success. EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in internal auditing and a strong grasp of HACCP principles. Proven experience in food safety or quality roles within the food industry. QUALIFICATIONS: Expertise in managing quality procedures, data, and reporting. A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills to build strong, trusted relationships. Self-driven and resourceful, with the ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines. Flexibility for occasional travel to global sites and a passion for embracing new challenges
