An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT Service Operations Team at Covéa Insurance as an IT Change Analyst. The role is a hybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and also from our Halifax or Manchester office. What will I be doing? Supporting the Lead Service Manager in refining and implementing the change management policy Reviewing change requests, ensuring accurate risk assessments for impacted services Guiding requestors through the change process for smooth execution Ensuring change requests follow the correct lifecycle and all updates are captured Creating a schedule of upcoming changes, identifying conflicts, and working with requestors to minimise risks Leading the Change Advisory Board and ensuring decisions are documented for audits Ensuring timely completion of Post Change Reviews, escalating issues as needed Helping implement Service Protection Periods to prevent disruptions during peak times Promoting and encouraging adoption of the Change Management process within IT Providing regular MI reports on the change process, highlighting key trends Suggesting improvements to the Change Management process in the ITSM Toolset You should apply if you have… Good communication skills Ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritise workloads effectively Good analytical skills with experience of report production Ability to work with a range of stakeholders Working understanding of IT systems, processes and technology 1-2 years’ experience of working within IT Change Management Experience of working with Incident and Problem management ITIL V4 Foundation – preferable, not essential We understand that some candidates may be hesitant to apply for a position if they do not meet all the criteria listed in the job description.
