What are you going to do:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Freelance STEM Trainers to lead engaging events and activities aimed at inspiring young people, children, and families in STEM subjects. This flexible, ad-hoc role is ideal for professionals with a passion for teaching and a background in STEM, such as teachers (including supply teachers), university students studying teaching, tutors, and experienced STEM trainers.
As a Freelance STEM Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering workshops, presentations, and hands-on activities at various venues across the West Midlands, including schools, community centers, and public events. This is an excellent opportunity to promote STEM learning, inspire curiosity, and ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in young minds.

Qualifications and Skills
Enhanced DBS Certification
STEM Knowledge:
Strong understanding and enthusiasm for STEM subjects. Ideal candidates include qualified teachers, university students studying teaching, tutors, teaching assistants, educational event staff and experienced STEM trainers.
Communication Skills: Ability to engage and inspire children and young audiences, creating a positive learning environment.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work ad-hoc hours and adjust to varying event requirements.
Transportation: Access to reliable transportation is advantageous to cover multiple locations across the West Midlands.
