Procurement Manager

We are continuously seeking experienced Procurement Managers to join our client's team. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the purchasing activities of our organisation, ensuring that all procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective. If you have a knack for negotiation and a strategic mindset, we want to hear from you.
Day to Day of the Role:
* Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
* Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
* Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
* Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
* Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
* Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
* Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
* Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
* Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement.
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
* Talent in negotiations and networking.
* Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
* Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
* Experience in collecting and analysing data.
* Strong leadership capabilities.
* CIPS or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
