Project Volunteer (Edinburgh & Lothians)
Would you like to use your skills and broaden your experience while making a difference to the 1 in 5 people living with chest, heart, and stroke conditions across Scotland?
We are looking for enthusiastic and well-organised Project Volunteers in the north of Scotland to help support the Fundraising Team with their projects such as the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2025.
You can get involved with researching local businesses for funding and partnership opportunities, creating event handbooks and packs, and promoting fundraising events in your local community.
This role can be done in your own time at home.
Experience Required
Tasks will depend on the specific scope, goals and timescales of the project and could include researching potential opportunities to raise funds (e.g., Charity of the Year schemes) and producing a proposal; or designing, developing and finalising information packs and materials for our supporters, volunteers, and colleagues. This role requires experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the internet, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is a home-based role.
Travel Expenses
Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. These should be discussed with your Line Manager prior to outlay and must be submitted within the prescribed guidelines as detailed in the CHSS Volunteer Expenses Policy.
