Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receipt and triage of incoming requests for service and support within the IT Service desk software solution (Email, phone, in-person).
2. Responsibility for progression of requests utilizing good time management and providing regular requester updates through to resolution, in line with agreed service levels.
3. Technical troubleshooting, fault finding, resolution implementation, and testing. Collaboration and escalation to relevant teams where required. Work logging.
4. Procurement, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software as required in line with standardized department policies, budget, and managerial approval.
5. Active participation in daily team meetings and monthly group meetings, feeding back issues and providing customer and business insight.
6. Assistance with departmental projects when requested.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following skillset:
1. Supporting a Microsoft Enterprise End-User environment (Latest Windows OS, Print Servers, DHCP, DNS).
2. Deployment, configuration, and management of end-user endpoints.
3. Thorough hardware/software troubleshooting skills and methods.
4. Basic understanding of Enterprise Endpoint Cloud technologies (Endpoint Manager/Intune).
5. Basic understanding and support of networking technologies/methodologies.
6. Awareness of Cyber Security best practices.
7. Telephony and Mobile Communications.
8. Raising purchase orders.
9. Experience of different Helpdesk systems.
10. Experience of different IT tools.
11. Ability to think for themselves and prioritise their own workloads.
12. Strong background in 1st and 2nd line support.
13. Full driving license and use of vehicle.
What's on Offer
1. Car Allowance - £5,500 p.a.
2. From commencement - Death In Service 4x basic salary.
