This leadership role demands a strong background in financial management, contracts, billing processes, and credit control to ensure the company’s financial health and operational efficiency. The Contract to Cash Lead will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and effective credit risk management in line with Otis T&C's. This role is pivotal in optimizing cash flow, minimizing bad debts, and supporting the company’s financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement contract, billing and credit control strategies, policies, and procedures. Oversee the end-to-end contract to billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoicing. Manage credit control activities to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize financial risks. Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and within Finance to ensure alignment and efficiency in contract terms and billing and credit processes. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of team performance. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Measure, assess, drive and report of key working capital metrics. Set collection targets, review and assess collection performance of the different Business Units and operational activities Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Develop and present regular reports on debt and asset management performance to senior management. In addition, the candidate will be expected to: Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures. Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO) Perform all his/her responsibilities in compliance with the Otis Policies and Code of Ethics. People Management Develops and nurtures a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the UKN Billing and Credit Control teams and provides mentoring for high potential talent. Defines and facilitates the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the UKN Billing and Credit Control teams. Nurtures talent within the organization by providing ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of their defined goals. Key Requirements: B achelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent Relevant certification in credit management such as Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) or equivalent is preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in billing and credit control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a construction/engineering organization Strong knowledge of billing processes, credit control principles, and financial management. Proven experience in developing and implementing billing and credit control strategies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in billing and credit control software and tools. Develops communication strategies and has significant persuasion skills.
