We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Managing Director to take our client from a visionary start up to a global icon in the high performance, hyper luxury automotive world.
To scale this success and execute the next phase of growth, they are seeking an outstanding Managing Director who will take over the day-to-day running of the company. The appointee will bring proven commercial, financial, and operational leadership to help transition the brand from early-stage to full production, funding, and global market presence.
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities
* Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate vision into reality – taking the company from prototype to production, and into the global ultra-luxury automotive market.
* Oversee the strategic and operational leadership of the company across design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales.
* Take full accountability for financial planning, budgetary control, and investor
* engagement, ensuring fiscal discipline and robust cost management.
* Lead capital raising efforts to support the production cycle – working with current and new investors and partners to secure the financial resources required to bring the offering to market.
* Work closely with the COO on all production elements to ensure engineering excellence, scalability, and on-time delivery.
* Support and guide the Sales and Marketing Director to position them as a globally recognised hypercar brand with aligned and powerful messaging across all media platforms.
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with UHNWI clients, collectors, influencers, and automotive opinion leaders to foster enduring brand loyalty and advocacy.
* Build and empower a high-performance culture of operational excellence and
* innovation.
* Serve as an ambassador for the brand in all key forums – automotive, investor, media, and HNW circles.
Candidate Profile
* A proven business leader with extensive experience in the luxury automotive, supercar/hypercar, or adjacent high-performance manufacturing sectors.
* Deep understanding of the automotive development lifecycle – from concept through engineering and build, into production and delivery.
* Demonstrated excellence in fundraising and investor relations – ideally having led or supported capital raising initiatives.
* Highly numerate with strong commercial instincts and rigorous financial acumen – with a track record of managing complex budgets and scaling operations efficiently.
* A confident leader, equally comfortable in the boardroom, on the factory floor, or with discerning luxury clientele.
* International perspective with global experience, ideally across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
* Personal network of UHNW clients, private collectors, investors, and industry figures.
