This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements. This opportunity is available as a secondment.

We are looking for a highly motivated Placement Support Coordinator to assist the Placement Managers with the smooth running of financial and quality assurance operations within the School of Medicine’s Placement Management team. The team is responsible for the business arrangements that govern placement activity for students on our medical degree. You will have substantial experience as an administrator and possess excellent organisational, IT and communication skills. You will be a strong team player and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently. You should also have confidence in working with financial processes. The ability to multitask and coordinate activities is essential to meet deadlines/demand and to deliver quality and accuracy under pressure. You will be able to work with discretion as you will frequently deal with confidential/sensitive matters. Supported by the Placement Managers, you will coordinate the Placement Support Officer(s) to achieve shared goals. You will be skilled at managing your own complex workload including accurately collating complex information and data, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating the organisation of key meetings and using judgement and initiative to overcome challenges.
