We are making a key appointment for a Sales Team Leader to drive the continued successful development of OI Andor’s growth strategy. The Sales Team Leader is expected to develop and execute the sales strategy for Life Sciences and specifically our Imaris software, which will exploit the significant growth potential that exists within the EMEAI markets.
The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for the management and development of Regional Sales Engineers and Applications Staff to deliver the successful implementation of strategic and operational plans in addition to their own sales territory in the UK.
Minimum Requirements:
* Master's degree in science or equivalent experience in a life sciences discipline.
* 3 years of direct sales experience within the Photonics Industry and successful management of a direct sales territory.
* Extensive sales experience including line management experience or alternatively mentoring or coaching a small team or individual. Experience of designing channel infrastructure for both direct and indirect sales across different markets and a diverse portfolio.
This permanent position can be based in the UK (ideally Midlands or South) working from home with at least 70% of time traveling to customers.
