Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home, Exmouth
Average of 35 hours a week, 52 weeks

Rolle House is a registered Children’s Home specializing in supporting Deaf young people with complex needs. The Home has a distinct ethos of being nurturing and child-centered, applying therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches (Thrive). In this role, you will develop your skills as part of a passionate and caring team, with opportunities for career growth. You will be supported to upskill and develop all aspects of continued professional development within the arena of residential care for young people with complex needs and neurodiversity.
In your day-to-day role as a Residential Support Worker, you will support our young people in developing their everyday opportunities, creating fun and developmental activities that support their wellbeing and independence. You will help create happy memories as part of the young people’s childhood experiences. Working on a rota as part of a team of 4, you will work around 35 hours (including sleep-ins as part of a 24-hour shift) across a 3-week shift pattern. You will maintain a well-run, clean, and cared-for home while meeting the daily needs of the young people's care, enjoyment, and achievement.

*Regular sleep-ins will be required with the role and paid at a rate of £45 per night, these are not contractual or guaranteed. The minimum salary for this role with no sleep-in rate applied is £22,933pa. The salary including sleep-ins may be up to £25,933pa (or £30,302 for those at the top of the pay scale).
Salary progression is based on the completion of BSL qualifications up to Level 3 and the attainment of the Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma, both sponsored by the academy.
