Do you thrive working in a challenging environment?
Empowering Learning is seeking teaching assistants that are looking for an exciting new challenge working with students with emotional behavioural difficulties.
We are looking for candidates with experience working with children with emotional behavioural disorders (EBD), social emotional mental health difficulties (SEMH), and other challenging behaviours.
You will be required to work with students across all ages in one of our SEMH / EBD schools, alternative provisions, PRUs, or Primary Schools.
The correct candidate will be in a class of up to 10 students with SEMH statements and will be responsible for the behaviour support, learning, and progress of these students.
Do you have?
* Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative, and work well under pressure.
* Recent experience with children with EBD, SEMH, and other challenging behaviours.
If you are from a Psychology, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, Life Coach, or Mentoring background and you feel you have the right knowledge and training to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check, and references will be taken up before the interview.
