CAD OPERATIVE
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
G4S Facilities Management we have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford.
We are looking for a dynamic and agile individual who will support the Assets, Lifecycle and Projects Manager and work closely with client representatives to carry out configuration control of CAD design engineering drawings and to keep all infrastructure drawings, records and databases up to date producing proposals and configured layouts to support the contract and satisfy customers.
Responsibilities
Create building space plan proposals, using standard materials and appropriate Health and Safety legislation.
Provide configuration control of CAD design drawings.
Provide site drawings to the Contract Management Team and client’s intranet as required.
Amend existing drawings, produce new M&E design drawings and modifications to building structure, partitions and ceilings for variation proposals and SLA requirements.
Carry out site surveys of building services and record any changes from the base plan.
Manage, update and control the Access record drawings database for building services and structures ensuring a high standard of accuracy.
Maintain the electronic system in accordance with site desk allocation under direction of Workspace Asset Manager/Contract Lead.
Maintain O&M archive in line with contractual requirements.
Coordinate with the CAFM team to incorporate plant and CAD changes within the CAFM system.
Ensure RDS documentation is up to date and has been reviewed according to schedule.
Contribute to lifecycle forecasts and variation submissions.
Collaborate with teams to create, modify and provide accurate building audit updates.
Record fire, muster and first aid assets within building plans.
Respond to client building assets project portfolio requests, highlighting issues and resolving space planning queries.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
AutoCAD training formal qualification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the active use of AutoCAD LT.
IT literate, preferably in Google & MS Office.
Minimum 2 years’ in the active use of AutoCAD LT.
Experience of preparing 3D modelling drawings and space planning.
Space management experience.
HSE regulations awareness.
