From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). We advise that you check that the role you wish to apply for meets the requirement for sponsorship before applying.

We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Locality Therapy Team. The successful individual will be based at Ludlow Community Hospital. They will join an enthusiastic and supportive multi-disciplinary team in providing high quality care and rehabilitation.
The successful individual must have an interest and experience in inpatient rehabilitation and be able to work as an autonomous practitioner. The post holders' main responsibilities will be providing Occupational Therapy assessment and rehabilitation to inpatients who have a wide range of conditions and complex needs. They will be working alongside colleagues to contribute to safe and effective discharge plans, taking an active part in Red2Green approach to help reduce unnecessary delays for patients. As well as working alongside community colleagues to develop streamlined pathways of care.
We have a strong commitment to clinical supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), offering a supportive and proactive environment with opportunities for supervision, training and peer support, both locally and County wide. This post will be involved in supervision of junior staff, rehabilitation technicians and students.
