Accounts Assistant
£30-33k salary
Based - Chiswick, West London W4
Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (Hybrid working policy - 2 days per week in office)

Role:
The Accounts Assistant will work closely with a small and busy Finance team, ensuring that the financial operations of the business are performed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Duties:
1. Perform daily sales administration, accounts receivables, and accounts payables tasks.
2. Perform reconciliations and provide support to the finance team as required.
This role provides a unique opportunity for someone wishing to gain broad accounts experience in a growing organization.
Main Tasks:
1. Sales Administration - calculating, processing, and sending invoices to customers on a monthly or quarterly basis.
2. Accounts Receivables - performing credit control by running sales aging reports, issuing statements, sending out payment reminder emails, and following up with phone calls for customer accounts. Ensure cash allocations.
3. Accounts Payables - assisting with logging, chasing, coding, and processing supplier invoices against purchase orders and uploading invoices onto Xero.
4. Other Administration - Setting up new suppliers, creating purchase orders, reviewing employee expense claim forms, performing credit checks, and allocating cash receipts and payments.
5. Business Support - dealing with external queries from suppliers and customers, and assisting with internal queries from operations, sales, marketing, and compliance teams as required.
6. Data Quality - Performing reconciliations, identifying and correcting errors, checking invoices, and ensuring accurate data processing at all times.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in finance administration, accounts payables, or accounts receivables.
2. Intermediate Excel skills with proven ability to enhance existing worksheets.
3. Experience with Xero and Sage50 accounting software.
Benefits:
22 days (+ Bank holidays) leave increasing by 1 day each year to a maximum of 25
