Knowledge of UK General Haulage Industry
Monitor all deliveries and report any issues to customers in a timely manner, resolving issues throughout the shift to ensure KPI targets are met.
Updating daily spreadsheets for drivers and customers.
Updating customers on a morning conference call on deliveries from the day before with daily statistics.
Responsible for handling and resolving delivery queries internally and externally within defined time scales.
Responsible for checking all deliveries for customers.
Be able to prioritise a demanding workload within a fast-paced environment.
Provide an on-call service every 1 in 2 weeks throughout the night and at weekends.
Must be able to multi-task and have a strong attention to detail.
Dealing with customers’ in-house systems.
Be flexible to work weekends if required.
Updating and providing trailer requirements to all customers.
Complete customer tracking documents ensuring accurate ETAs are communicated via customers' preferred communication method.
Support operational subcontracting activities, ensuring delivery performance is maintained whilst achieving operational profit margins.
Chasing any outstanding PODs internally and externally.
Chasing customers and suppliers daily for loads.
Be able to use TMS system (Mandata).
Dealing with daily emails and being able to keep on top of them.
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: Friday - Monday 07:00 am - 18:00 hrs.
Job Type: Permanent.
Pay: £26,800.00 - £28,000.00 per year.
