In House Recruiter
We have an exciting opportunity for an In-House Recruiter to join our fast-paced in-house recruitment team, based in Tunbridge Wells. As an established Domiciliary Care Company, the Recruitment Team is pivotal to meeting the ever-changing business needs and demands of the Care at Home Services Group, attracting quality candidates to the workforce. You will also be required to participate in Recruitment Days and Job Fairs throughout Kent and East Sussex as and when the business needs require.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Being the face of the Care at Home Services Group.
2. Maintaining a strong pipeline of carers joining the business.
3. Acting as the first point of contact for all recruitment enquiries.
4. Creating and placing job advertisements on relevant job boards, social media, and other available advertising avenues to attract candidates, ensuring all active job adverts are current and up to date.
5. Reviewing all applicants and entering the details onto the People Planner system.
6. Contacting all applicants and undertaking a structured initial telephone screening/first interview.
7. Arranging face-to-face/Teams interviews with the local branches for those candidates who meet the Group's criteria.
8. Planning and coordinating Recruitment Days and leading activities on these days.
9. Developing and maintaining relationships with local Colleges/Job Centres and Community projects.
10. Answering the telephone and dealing with recruitment and applicant enquiries from all potential candidates.
11. Any other recruitment activities that are required by the Care at Home Services Group.
About You:
* Demonstrate a good level of spoken and written English language whilst being articulate and numerate.
* Have excellent people skills with the ability to engage with people quickly and professionally, whilst being comfortable speaking on the phone to people they haven’t met before.
* Able to demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude and approach to your work load.
* Organised and methodical in approach to tasks, with attention to detail being essential.
* Good understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) would be beneficial.
* Customer service focused.
* Reliable and dependable (e.g., good timekeeping and attendance).
* Previous experience of working within a recruitment or office environment would be an advantage, although not essential.
* Have the ability to work at pace and in line with the business needs.
* Experience within the Health and Social Care Sector would be an advantage.
The position is part-time (20 - 25 hours per week), Monday – Friday.
You must have the right to work in the UK, a full driving licence, and the use of a car.
You will be required to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service process for this role.
