With a professional and innovative approach, we lead the electrical contracting market, providing comprehensive electrical compliance services to ensure the safety and efficiency of our clients' electrical systems.\n \nKey Details: \n Start: ASAP \n Travel: Daily travel to allocated sites - company van provided \n Working: Independent role, working alone \n Selection: Teams call with Hiring Manager- 30 mins What will I be doing in this role?\n \nAs a PAT Tester, you'll play a vital role in ensuring electrical safety across a range of commercial properties. You'll be responsible for: \nConducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical appliances and equipment in line with industry regulations and company standards \nEnsuring all appliances are tested thoroughly, with accurate labelling and clear identification of pass/fail status \nMaintaining detailed and accurate records of testing results, including equipment condition and any remedial actions taken \nIdentifying, reporting, and escalating any electrical hazards or faults discovered during testing \nProviding clear and professional advice to clients on the ongoing maintenance, usage, and safety of electrical appliances \nManaging your daily workload efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations \nRepresenting the company in a professional manner while on client sites This role involves travel to various commercial locations, so flexibility and a customer-focused approach are key.\n \nWhat do I need to be successful in the role?\n \nTo succeed in this role, you'll need: \nA City & Guilds 2377 qualification in Portable Appliance Testing (or equivalent recognised certification) \nA good understanding of current electrical safety standards and regulations \nStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records \nGood communication skills and the confidence to advise clients on safety and compliance matters \nThe ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and use initiative \nA full UK driving licence (as travel to various sites will be required) Experience in a similar role or environment is desirable but not essential-we're open to newly qualified testers with the right attitude and qualifications.\n \nPlease note: This is a temporary position.
