BallyCara, a leading aged care organisation, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Qualified Support Worker to join our team in the Scarborough/Moreton Bay South community. We’re looking for someone who is ready to start immediately and is available for 3 or more days per week. With a range of shifts available—from early mornings to 8:30 PM—you’ll have the flexibility to fit work around your lifestyle while making a real difference in the lives of others. Key Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks. Provide social support and facilitate community and wellness activities. Communicate effectively with your team leader about client needs and progress. Transport clients to appointments and social events. Travel throughout the community between client homes (paid km's) Skills And Experiences What We're Looking For Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services, or current nursing students who have completed an aged care placement. Previous experience in aged care or community services is highly regarded. Basic computer proficiency with accurate documentation skills. Strong ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with supervisors. Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards aging and aged care. Current Australian Open Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. Up to date National Police Check clearance or ability to get one through BallyCara recruitment process First Aid and CPR certifications.
