BallyCara is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Aged Care Support Workers. In this fulfilling role, you'll help seniors maintain their independence and live comfortably in their homes on the picturesque Redcliffe Peninsula. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks. Offer social support, fostering engagement in community and wellness activities. Keep your team leader updated on client needs and progress. Assist clients with transportation to appointments and social outings. Travel locally between client homes across the Redcliffe Peninsula (with paid mileage). Skills And Experiences What We're Looking For: A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services, OR current nursing students who have completed Aged Care placements. Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, early mornings, and afternoons. Basic computer skills with attention to detail in documentation. Ability to work independently, while reporting to a Supervisor. Empathy, patience, and a positive outlook on Ageing. A current Driver’s License and registered and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). First Aid and CPR certificates.
