Join our team as an IT / OT Platform Manager and lead the way in promoting optimum efficiency and compliance within agreed budgets, achieving positive ROI. You will influence, lead, and successfully execute departmental strategies and decisions, delivering outputs on time and compliantly, while fostering a resilient, supportive, and proactive culture.
As a recognized leader and expert, you will ensure team and individual service delivery expectations are exceeded and positively received. You will identify, analyse, and interpret relevant data to guide departmental direction, aligning with broader strategies. By identifying transformational department needs and collaborating with wider organizational initiatives, you will create improved working practices.
An experienced leader, you will develop, coach, and empower team members to excel and achieve team goals. You will ensure health and safety are monitored, risks identified, and compliance maintained, promoting best practices across all activities and seeking continual improvement.
You will be accountable for mission-critical OT systems and applications in Cadent, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, optimal performance, availability, reliability, and service operation of all IT/OT systems and applications. You will maintain the health of all IT/OT systems and applications, delivering maintenance plans for patching and updating software components to ensure supportability. Additionally, you will ensure knowledge and understanding of business processes and Cadent’s objectives, oversee outsourced application support Service Providers’ performance, and ensure regular completion of audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for mission-critical IT/OT systems, applications, and end-user compute support, including internal support and third-party vendor management.
* Provide OT system and application support during high priority incidents, manage problem resolution, and ensure technical delivery of maintenance policies.
* Deliver 24x7x365 operational support with a managed standby rota and ensure seamless support through comprehensive documentation and standards.
* Manage CNI Network connectivity, the Asset Register to ensure lifecycle value, reliability, security, and scalability of platforms.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, lead the team in delivering excellent customer service and ensure alignment with IT Service Operations & Digital Platforms.
Skills and Experience
As the IT / OT Platform Manager you will need to have experience with:
* Management experience in delivering IT services in a multisource model, with extensive senior technical IT experience in an ITIL-disciplined environment.
* Team management experience supporting 24x7 critical applications, driving results through direct/indirect resources, and demonstrating strong vendor/stakeholder management.
* Strong customer-focused service operations background, with detailed understanding of engineering processes on operational gas sites and ITIL Foundation certification.
* Excellent communication skills, with experience in Prince2, Agile, Jira, and Scrum methodologies, and senior stakeholder engagement.
* Knowledge of Operational Technologies, network security, encryption, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and experience supporting mission-critical systems with technical and visionary skills.
