Senior Staffing Co-Ordinator
Sodexo Live! is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Staffing Co-Ordinator to join our team at Ascot Racecourse. This role will involve working closely with the HR team, based at the Racecourse to plan Raceday and event labour and ensure that we have exceptional teams to deliver an outstanding Guest Experience.
You will be responsible for effectively planning and forecasting labour requirements for racedays and events, ensuring staff are accurately scheduled in line with productivity initiatives and budgetary constraints. You will also be tasked with driving labour consistency and return ratios across multiple accounts, acting as the staffing lead for events, and developing strong relationships with casual worker agencies.

Accountabilities
1. Support the HR and staffing function, to effectively plan and forecast labour for Racedays and Events.
2. Ensure all labour is accurately planned in line with labour productivity initiatives and budgets, to meet company and client objectives.
3. Drive labour consistency and return ratios across accounts.
4. Act as the staffing lead on multiple accounts.
5. Drive the engagement of direct casual workers for all events.
6. Roster for all key event dates using the Humanforce Time and Attendance system.
7. Build and develop effective working relationships with business managers, key suppliers, and agency partners.
8. Co-ordinate weekly payroll for a large casual workforce.
9. Understand and manage Sodexo policies and employment legislation relating to a casual workforce.
10. Managing a direct report.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will be experienced in the hospitality industry with a good understanding of the requirements of delivering successful events. You will have the ability to forecast the staffing needs for events and racedays and ensure all labour is accurately planned in line with labour productivity initiatives and budgets. To do this you will be highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail.
Experience in working with labour planning software would be ideal. A passion for service excellence is essential, as is your desire and ability to build strong working relationships at all levels within the business.
